Valley Senior Ride is a diverse transportation program that offers non-emergency medical transportation services to older adults through taxis and public transit options. Riders can schedule their trips in advance, ensuring a seamless and reliable service. The program provides flexibility in payment options, including insurance, vouchers, donations, and membership or flat fees. Medicaid payments and various payment methods like credit cards, checks, and cash are also accepted. Valley Senior Ride operates as a paratransit service, catering to individuals with mobility limitations by providing assistance with packages and allowing service animals on board. The program offers private rides and shared rides, with transportation available via cars, vans, buses, or trains along fixed routes. Riders can request on-demand scheduling and benefit from door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation services. For added convenience, Valley Senior Ride allows advance scheduling ranging from a day to a week in advance, based on individual preferences. Moreover, riders have the option to have the driver wait for them during errands or appointments.
