Dickinson Public Transit: Specialized Transportation

Please make sure to contact Dickinson Public Transit: Specialized Transportation to confirm details of their transportation services.

Provides rides for any purpose, to all people, and no membership is required.

The Specialized Transportation program offers convenient and affordable public transit services to support older adults who may require assistance with local or out-of-town trips. For in-town travels within the Dickinson City Limits, the program charges $4 for the first passenger and $3 for each additional passenger sharing the same pick-up and drop-off points. For longer out-of-town trips exceeding Dickinson City Limits, up to 5 miles, the program charges $4 base fare, plus an additional $1 per mile per passenger. Additional guests incur a $3 fee each, along with the $1 per mile charge. This program ensures flexibility by accommodating shared rides and accepts payment in the form of credit cards or cash. To utilize this service, older adults are encouraged to schedule their rides in advance, providing a few days notice to secure their transportation. The program's buses or trains offer curb-to-curb service, further enhancing the convenience and accessibility of this transportation option.
