Learn More About This Program

Please make sure to contact Community of Care: Volunteer Transportation to confirm details of their transportation services.

Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.

Volunteer Transportation is a wonderful transportation program available to older adults in the community. This program offers rides in cars or vans, helping older adults get to their destinations safely and efficiently. One of the great things about this program is that it is completely free of charge, although donations are gratefully accepted to support the service. To use Volunteer Transportation, older adults simply need to schedule their rides a few days in advance through the Rides In Advance system. This advance scheduling helps ensure that drivers are available to provide transportation when needed. Whether it's a medical appointment, shopping trip, or social visit, Volunteer Transportation can help older adults get where they need to go with ease and peace of mind.
