Payment can be made by check or cash, ensuring flexibility for riders. One of the key features of this program is the opportunity for shared rides, allowing older adults to make cost-effective and environmentally friendly transportation choices. Additionally, the program offers curb-to-curb transportation, making it easier for older adults with mobility concerns to access the transportation services. Riders are also welcome to bring their service animals along for the journey. To utilize the Public Transit program, older adults are encouraged to schedule their rides at least 24 hours in advance, as availability operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
