This program relies on donations and charges a flat fee for its services. While generally there is no cost to the rider, some agencies may opt to implement a fee to help with operational expenses. Within the county, rides are priced at $5.00 per trip, and for destinations outside the county, the fare is set at $15.00 per ride. Riders have the option to access transportation via bus or train, with the program focusing on shared rides to maximize efficiency. To utilize this service, older adults are required to schedule their rides in advance, typically a few days prior to the intended date of travel. Requests for transportation are reviewed individually to accommodate as many older adults as possible.
