The Senior Transportation program offers a convenient and flexible way for older adults to access non-emergency medical transportation services. Through this program, older adults can arrange transportation via taxi, public transit, or private car, depending on their preferences and needs. Riders have the option to book rides in advance, with scheduling flexibility ranging from one day to a week in advance, or opt for on-demand services. Accepted payment methods include insurance, Medicaid, vouchers, coupons, credit cards, pre-payment, and cash, ensuring accessibility for all participants. The program operates on a membership or flat fee basis, with donation-based pricing available as well. Additionally, riders can benefit from assistance with packages or bags, along with the convenience of door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation services. Furthermore, riders can bring service animals along for the journey, and drivers are available to wait during appointments or errands. With shared ride options and transportation following fixed routes, the Senior Transportation program aims to provide safe and reliable mobility solutions for older adults.
