Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.

The Council on Aging Transportation program offers convenient and reliable transportation services for older adults in the community. To utilize this program, older adults simply need to schedule their rides at least one day in advance, providing flexibility and ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. With a focus on affordability, this program offers its transportation services free of charge, making it accessible to older adults on a budget. Transportation is provided through buses or trains, allowing older adults to travel to various destinations within the community. The program offers curb-to-curb transportation, meaning older adults will be assisted from the curb outside their homes to the curb at their destination, prioritizing their safety and comfort throughout the journey. When booking transportation through the Council on Aging program, older adults can rely on a dedicated and supportive team to assist them with their travel needs, helping to enhance their independence and mobility.


Service Area

Transportation to doctor appointments and pharmacy visits (for prescription pickups only). Transportation to the Council on Aging nutrition sites and other special events are also part of the Council on Aging services.
