This program primarily utilizes taxis for transportation and allows riders to schedule their rides in advance, with the option to pay via insurance, vouchers, donations, or a membership fee. The program is also inclusive, as it accepts Medicaid payments and offers various pricing options based on individual needs, including in-county and out-of-county rates. In addition to taxis, Community Transportation provides private rides via car or van, as well as the option for shared rides on fixed routes. Riders can enjoy on-demand scheduling, with drivers who are willing to wait for passengers during errands or appointments. This program ensures accessibility by providing door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation services, allowing passengers to bring service animals if needed. Overall, Community Transportation offers a comprehensive and convenient transport solution for older adults, eliminating barriers to mobility and promoting independence in their daily activities.

Weekly public out of town medical trips including routes for Lumberton, Fayetteville, Wilmington and Whiteville. Some local employment transportation. Transportation to Bladen Community College within our routes. Local public routes for shopping. Kidney Dialysis Transportation.
