This program ensures a comfortable ride within a 25-mile radius from the rider's residence at a fixed rate of $45, which includes 2 hours of assistance time. For distances beyond the set radius or time limit, standard rates apply, with an additional charge of $.60 per mile if the caregiver uses their own vehicle. Riders can also benefit from having their packages or bags attended to during the trip. To utilize this service, riders are advised to schedule their transportation needs a few days in advance to secure availability. Payment options are flexible, allowing riders to pay with credit card or cash for their convenience. With a focus on personalized care, the In-Home Care with Transportation program offers door-to-door pick-up and drop-off, ensuring that older adults can travel safely and comfortably to their desired destinations while receiving assistance tailored to their needs.
