Provides rides for any purpose, to all people, and no membership is required.
The Fixed Route transportation program provides non-emergency medical transportation services for older adults via taxi, making it a convenient and accessible public transit option. Riders are required to schedule their rides at least one day in advance, and can pay for the service using insurance, vouchers, coupons, donations, or a membership fee. The program also offers the flexibility of accepting Medicaid payments, pre-payments, credit card payments, or cash.
This program operates as a paratransit service, ensuring that older adults receive assistance with packages or bags while providing transportation options such as private rides, shared rides, and door-to-door service. Additionally, the Fixed Route program features a fixed schedule for pickups and drops-offs, allowing for planned transportation with the option of on-demand scheduling. Riders can benefit from a driver who will wait for them during errands or appointments, adding an extra level of assistance and convenience. Service animals are welcomed aboard, making sure that all older adults have equal access to this efficient and reliable transportation service.
