Learn More About This Program

Please make sure to contact Tri-County Action Program (TRICAP): Dial-A-Ride to confirm details of their transportation services.

Dial-A-Ride is a transportation program designed to offer convenient and affordable rides for older adults in both urban and rural areas. With the option to make advanced reservations at low rates of $1.25 for urban areas and $3.00 for rural areas, older adults can plan their trips ahead of time with ease. For those who require a last-minute ride, same-day reservations are also available at slightly higher rates of $2.00 for urban areas and $3.75 for rural areas. To access this program, older adults are encouraged to schedule their rides a few days in advance, allowing for efficient planning and coordination. Payments for rides can be made using cash or check, providing flexibility and convenience for riders. Additionally, riders can take advantage of the Rides In Advance feature, ensuring seamless transportation arrangements for their needs. Dial-A-Ride not only offers a reliable transportation service but also allows older adults to contribute through donations, supporting the continuation of this valuable program for the community. Whether traveling within urban neighborhoods or venturing into rural areas, older adults can rely on Dial-A-Ride for safe, affordable, and accommodating transportation options.
