The In-Home Care program provides convenient and reliable non-emergency medical transportation services for older adults. With the option to schedule rides at least a day in advance, older adults can access transportation via taxi, car, bus, or train as part of this public transit and paratransit program. Riders have the flexibility to choose between private rides or shared transportation, with the program accepting various payment methods including insurance, vouchers, donations, and credit cards. Additionally, the program offers door-to-door and curb-to-curb transportation services, ensuring that older adults can travel safely to their destinations. With the option for on-demand scheduling and the availability of drivers who can wait for passengers during errands or appointments, this program prioritizes the comfort and convenience of older adults. Service animals are also welcomed on board, making this program inclusive and accommodating for older adults with additional needs.
