Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.

The Volunteer Driver Program offers older adults the opportunity to access transportation services through volunteer drivers who use their own vehicles. Riders can request rides to destinations such as Two Harbors for a suggested donation of $15, or to Duluth for $25. It is recommended that rides are scheduled in advance, requiring riders to plan ahead by booking their transportation a few days prior to the intended travel date. Payments for the rides can be made through either checks or cash, offering flexibility to the riders. This program ensures a convenient and reliable curb-to-curb transportation service, focusing on meeting the needs of older adults in the community. By partnering with volunteer drivers, older adults can access affordable and personalized transportation options, enhancing their independence and mobility. Riders can rest assured that they will receive timely and professional transportation through the Volunteer Driver Program, helping them maintain their connections with essential services and activities in their area.
