Dignified Senior Transportation is a flexible transportation program designed to cater to the needs of older adults. This program offers non-emergency medical transportation services through taxis, public transit, and paratransit options. For convenience, riders can schedule their rides in advance, allowing for proper planning and coordination. One of the key features of this program is its affordability and accessibility. Pricing is offered on a sliding scale basis, ensuring that no older adult is turned away due to inability to pay. Additionally, payment options are diverse, including insurance, vouchers, donations, and Medicaid payments. Dignified Senior Transportation provides a range of transportation services, from private rides to shared van transportation along fixed routes. Door-to-door service is available, and riders are welcome to bring service animals along. With on-demand scheduling and the option for drivers to wait during errands or appointments, this program strives to make transportation reliable and stress-free for older adults in the community.
