The Volunteer Driver Program offers older adults a convenient and flexible transportation option by connecting them with volunteer drivers. Clients can schedule shared rides via car or van, ensuring they can reach their desired destinations in a timely manner. The program operates on a donation basis, where clients receive a monthly letter suggesting a donation amount based on their income. This system allows for a fair and accessible pricing structure tailored to individual financial circumstances. To utilize the Volunteer Driver Program, older adults are required to schedule their rides a few days in advance. This advance notice ensures that drivers can accommodate as many requests as possible, providing reliable transportation services to clients.
