Learn More About This Program

Please make sure to contact Care Partners of Cook County: Senior Transportation to confirm details of their transportation services.

Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.

The Senior Transportation program offers older adults convenient and flexible transportation services using cars and vans. Participants are encouraged to contribute to the cost of the rides through a suggested donation based on a sliding fee scale linked to their monthly income, typically ranging from .08 cents to .55 cents per mile. Scheduling rides in advance is required, and payments can be made via check, credit card, or cash. This program ensures that older adults can access the transportation they need by providing curb-to-curb service, allowing them to travel to medical appointments, social engagements, or run errands. By offering reliable transportation options and promoting independence, the program aims to enhance the quality of life for older adults in the community.
