Provides rides for any purpose, to all people, and no membership is required.

SouthWest Prime Service is a versatile transportation program tailored to meet the diverse needs of older adults. Operating as a non-emergency medical transportation service, this program primarily utilizes taxis and public transit to provide convenient rides to various destinations. To access these services, older adults are required to schedule their rides in advance, with the flexibility to choose between private car rides or shared transportation via bus or train. One of the key features of SouthWest Prime Service is its inclusive payment options, ranging from insurance coverage, vouchers, and donations to Medicaid payments and credit card transactions. The program aims to ensure affordability by offering different fare rates, including a standard fare of $4.00 per one-way trip, with discounted rates available during specific hours. Additionally, riders have the choice to pre-pay for their trips or opt for on-demand scheduling, aligning with their individual preferences. Furthermore, SouthWest Prime Service goes beyond just transportation by offering assistance with packages, door-to-door service, and allowing service animals to accompany riders. Whether older adults need a one-time ride or regular transportation on a fixed schedule, this program strives to provide a safe and reliable transit option that caters to their unique requirements.
