Veterans Transportation is a comprehensive non-emergency medical transportation program designed to cater to the transportation needs of older adults in our community. This program operates as a public transit service, offering convenient transportation options via taxis or private cars. Riders have the flexibility to schedule rides in advance, ensuring a seamless and reliable transport experience. One of the key features of the Veterans Transportation program is its inclusive payment options, allowing riders to use insurance, vouchers, coupons, donations, or Medicaid payments to cover transportation expenses. Additionally, the program offers various payment methods such as credit card, cash, or pre-payment for added convenience. This paratransit program goes above and beyond by providing door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation services, ensuring that older adults can travel safely and comfortably to their destinations. With the option for shared rides and on-demand scheduling, Veterans Transportation prioritizes the convenience and well-being of its riders. Furthermore, this program is pet-friendly, allowing service animals to accompany riders on their journeys.
