Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you have a disability.

The Community Transit Program offers older adults a convenient and reliable non-emergency medical transportation service. Riders can access transportation via taxi, car, bus, or train by scheduling rides at least a day in advance. The program provides various payment options including insurance, vouchers, donations, and Medicaid payments. Riders are charged a flat fee of $2.00 each way, with the option for pre-payment through methods like credit card, check, or cash. This paratransit program goes the extra mile by assisting riders with packages and bags, offering door-to-door transportation, allowing service animals, and providing shared rides to enhance accessibility and affordability. Riders can utilize the service for running errands, attending appointments, or following a fixed schedule for regular transportation needs. Additionally, the program offers the flexibility of on-demand scheduling and personalized support with drivers who can wait for the passenger when needed. Whether it's a short trip to the grocery store or a longer journey, the Community Transit Program caters to the diverse mobility requirements of older adults in the community.
