This public transit service caters to the needs of its riders by providing private rides in cars or vans, as well as shared rides on fixed routes via bus or train. Riders can easily book their trips in advance, with the option to schedule on-demand rides as needed.
The program offers various payment options, including payment by insurance, vouchers or coupons, donations, and credit card payments. There is a modest membership fee and a flat fee per ride, with discounts available for older adults and individuals with disabilities. Dial A Ride also accepts Medicaid payments and provides the convenience of accepting cash, checks, and pre-payments.
