The Transportation Assistance Program offers convenient and affordable transportation services for older adults in the Novi area. This program provides door-to-door transportation using vans, ensuring older adults can easily access various destinations within the City of Novi and border shopping areas. While rides within the city are free of charge, trips outside the city limits are available for a nominal fare of $5.00 per one-way journey.
Riders can schedule their trips in advance, allowing for proper planning and coordination of transportation needs. Additionally, the program offers shared rides, promoting a sense of community and companionship among passengers. Both cash and check payments are accepted, providing flexibility for older adults to choose their preferred method of payment.
