Learn More About This Program

Please make sure to contact Greater Niles Senior Center: Dignified Senior Transportation to confirm details of their transportation services.

Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.

The Dignified Senior Transportation program offers older adults access to free transportation services through the kindness of donors. Riders can arrange for rides via car or van by scheduling in advance, with a minimum advance notice of a few days. While the program itself is free of charge, donations are welcomed and help sustain this valuable service for older adults who may face challenges accessing transportation. When planning for transportation needs, individuals can rely on the program under the banner of Rides In Advance, ensuring safe and reliable transportation options for older adults in the community.
