The Metro Connect Demand Response Service is a specialized transportation program designed to provide convenient and affordable travel options for individuals with mobility limitations or disabilities. Riders can enjoy the flexibility of scheduling their trips a few days in advance to ensure smooth and timely transportation services. The program offers both standard fare rates for non-registered riders and reduced fare rates for registered riders, promoting accessibility for all individuals in need of transportation assistance.
With a focus on providing paratransit services, the program utilizes vans for transportation and offers shared rides to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Payment for services can be made by check or in cash, catering to different preferences and needs. Additionally, the program ensures curb-to-curb transportation, prioritizing the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout their journey.
Whether older adults require transportation for medical appointments, social outings, or everyday errands, the Metro Connect Demand Response Service strives to meet their needs and support their continued independence and mobility within the community.
