The Veterans Transportation program offers a vital service to older adults who have served in the military. This program relies on donations and provides paratransit services using vans for shared rides. Riders are required to schedule their trips in advance, with a particular emphasis on booking rides ahead of time through the Rides In Advance system. The program ensures convenient door-to-door transportation at no cost to the participants.
