Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.
The Senior Transportation program provides older adults with convenient and reliable non-emergency medical transportation services using taxis. Riders have the flexibility to schedule rides at least one day in advance, ensuring they can reach their medical appointments or run errands on time. Payment options include insurance, vouchers, donations, and memberships, as well as the ability to pay in cash, check, pre-payment, or via credit card.
This program offers various services such as private rides, paratransit assistance, and transportation via cars, vans, buses, or trains. Additionally, riders can benefit from on-demand scheduling, shared rides, and fixed-route transportation. The program is designed to accommodate older adults' needs by providing door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation, allowing service animals on board, and even offering a driver who can wait for the passenger during errands or appointments.
