Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you have a disability.
The Dignified Senior Transportation program offers a valuable service to older adults in the community by providing affordable and convenient transportation options. With a pricing structure of $2.50 per one-way trip plus an additional $2.50 per stop, this program ensures cost-effective transportation for older adults who may have limited mobility or access to other forms of transportation.
One of the unique features of this program is that aids and companions can ride for free, as long as they are registered in advance. This can be particularly helpful for older adults who may require assistance or accompaniment during their travels. Additionally, the option to schedule rides at least a few days in advance allows for better planning and coordination, ensuring that older adults can get to their destinations on time and with ease.
Accepted forms of payment include check, cash, and pre-payment, providing flexibility for older adults to choose the most convenient payment method for them. By offering shared rides, the Dignified Senior Transportation program promotes a sense of community and camaraderie among older adults, making each trip a social and enjoyable experience. For older adults looking to schedule transportation in advance, the program also offers the convenient option of Rides In Advance, helping them plan their journeys with peace of mind.
