Dignified Senior Transportation is a comprehensive non-emergency medical transportation program designed to cater to the specific needs of older adults. This program offers a convenient mode of transportation through taxi services, ensuring flexibility and reliability for its riders. Riders are required to schedule their trips in advance, preferably at least one day ahead, and have the option to pay for the service through insurance, vouchers, coupons, donations, Medicaid, check, pre-payment, or credit card. Aiding in accessibility, this program provides affordable pricing with a flat fee structure of $2.50 per one-way trip plus an additional $2.50 per stop. Companion care is also a priority, with the program allowing aides and companions to ride free of charge when registered in advance. Furthermore, Dignified Senior Transportation goes the extra mile by offering door-to-door transportation, ensuring a seamless and comfortable journey for its passengers. Embracing inclusivity, this program welcomes service animals on board and provides assistance with packages or bags. By providing a combination of private, shared, and paratransit services via taxis, vans, buses, or trains, Dignified Senior Transportation ensures that older adults have access to reliable transportation options that suit their needs. Whether for medical appointments, social outings, or daily errands, this program offers a flexible and user-friendly solution for older adults seeking safe and convenient transportation services.
