Learn More About This Program

Please make sure to contact Harbor Transit: Public Transportation to confirm details of their transportation services.

Provides rides for any purpose, to all people, and no membership is required.

The Public Transportation program offers convenient and affordable transit services to individuals looking to travel within the community. Riders can enjoy a standard fare of $1.50 per one-way trip, while those eligible for the senior/disabled fare only pay $0.75. To ensure a seamless experience, passengers are required to schedule their rides in advance, with the option to pay for their trips using a check or cash. Pre-payment is also accepted for added convenience. One of the program's highlights is its provision of shared rides, allowing for a cost-effective way to travel while promoting a sense of community among passengers. Additionally, riders can benefit from curb-to-curb transportation, ensuring that they are safely dropped off and picked up at their desired locations. Participants in this program are welcome to bring their service animals along for the ride, ensuring that all passengers can access the transportation services they need. By offering reliable and accessible transit options, the Public Transportation program aims to support older adults in maintaining their independence and staying connected to their community.
