Dignified Senior Transportation is a versatile transportation program designed to cater to the unique needs of older adults. This program offers non-emergency medical transportation services using taxis or private cars, making it convenient for older adults to attend medical appointments or run errands. With a focus on accessibility, Dignified Senior Transportation ensures that riders can schedule their rides at least a day in advance, allowing for proper planning.
One of the standout features of this program is its acceptance of various payment methods, including insurance, vouchers, donations, and Medicaid payments. This flexibility in payment options ensures that older adults can access the transportation services they need without financial burden. Additionally, the program offers fixed pricing options, with the opportunity for free rides or donation-based payments.
Dignified Senior Transportation goes beyond just providing rides by offering additional assistance, such as helping riders with packages, allowing service animals on board, and even providing door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation services. By prioritizing the comfort and convenience of older adults, this program aims to enhance their mobility and independence in a dignified manner.
