Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.
The Medical Transportation program offers non-emergency medical transportation for older adults through taxi services as part of a public transit program. Riders can schedule rides at least one day in advance, with the flexibility to pay through insurance, vouchers, or donations. Pricing is income-based, with lower fees for those earning less than $1,200 a month. This paratransit program provides assistance with packages, door-to-door services, and allows service animals on board. With options for on-demand scheduling, shared rides, and a variety of payment methods including cash and credit cards, the program aims to provide convenient and accessible transportation for older adults needing to reach medical appointments or run essential errands.
