The MassHealth CarePlus program provides low-cost health insurance for people who cannot get coverage through regular Medicaid or private insurance. This program can pay for prescription drugs and cover medical needs such as:

  • Emergency room visits
  • Lab tests and x-ray services

To apply for this program, fill out the online application. You may also print and fill out the application form and mail it to your local Medicaid office.
