New Freedom Transportation Service is a public transit program designed to provide convenient and affordable transportation options for older adults and individuals with low incomes. In-town rides for eligible individuals are priced at $3 per day, while other riders can access the service for $6 per day within city limits. For out-of-town trips, fares are determined based on mileage. This program offers transportation via bus or train, allowing older adults to travel safely and independently to their desired destinations. Payments for rides can be made using either cash or check, ensuring convenience for passengers with varying preferences.
