With the option to schedule rides in advance or on-demand, this program offers flexibility to its riders. Whether it's a medical appointment, running errands, or simply traveling around town, Independent Support Services provides transportation via taxi, car, van, bus, or train, ensuring a suitable mode of travel for every individual's needs.
This program operates on a membership or pay-as-you-go basis, accepting various forms of payment including insurance, vouchers, donations, and Medicaid. Riders can take advantage of the affordable Copay pricing structure, with a maximum monthly fee in place for cost-efficiency. Additionally, riders can benefit from a range of service features such as assistance with packages, door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation, and the option to have a driver wait during appointments or errands.
By offering a blend of tailored services, payment options, and flexible scheduling, Independent Support Services strives to enhance the mobility and independence of older adults, ensuring they can access the transportation they need to maintain an active and engaged lifestyle.
