Mobilize Katahdin is a community transportation program that offers free rides for older adults. Participants can schedule transportation in advance using the Rides In Advance service, ensuring convenient curb-to-curb transportation via car or van. Donations to support the program are accepted but not required. Riders are encouraged to request rides a few days in advance to secure their transportation. Mobilize Katahdin aims to provide a reliable and accessible way for older adults to get around town without worrying about the cost, making it easier for them to maintain their independence and stay connected to the community.
