The Public Transportation Service program offers a convenient and affordable way for individuals to travel around town using public transit. With a simple flat fee structure, passengers can enjoy the ease of paying $2.00 per boarding, with discounted rates of $1.00 available for older adults aged 60 and over, students, individuals with disabilities, and passengers aged 6-17. Furthermore, children aged 5 and younger can ride for free when accompanied by an adult. Accessible via buses or trains, this program provides shared rides, ensuring a cost-effective and environmentally friendly way to get around. Payments can be made conveniently through a variety of options, including check, credit card, or cash. When planning a trip through this service, it's important to note that at least two business days' notice is required for Flex stops, providing flexibility for passengers' schedules. Operating on a fixed schedule, this program offers curb-to-curb transportation, making it a reliable choice for older adults looking for a dependable means of getting from one place to another.
