Ride On Public Transit is a convenient public transportation program tailored to meet the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities. This program offers affordable pricing options, with a one-way fare of $1.80 for the general public. Older adults aged 65 and above or those with disabilities can enjoy free one-way rides during specific times on weekdays from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm, and just $.90 for one-way rides during all other times. Participants in the Ride On Public Transit program can access transportation services via buses or trains that operate on fixed routes. Payment for services can be made by check or in cash, providing flexibility and convenience for older adults utilizing the program. Scheduled transportation services ensure reliable and timely pickups and drop-offs, allowing older adults to plan their trips with confidence.
