The Senior Transportation program offers convenient transportation services for older adults utilizing a car service. To access this program, individuals must create a Transportation account and prepay for rides at a cost of $45. This fee includes a $20 non-refundable registration fee with the remaining $25 deposited into a transportation account. Rides are charged based on distance traveled, with fares deducted from the transportation account. For trips under 3 miles, the round trip fare is $8, while longer trips up to 35 miles are priced accordingly. It is necessary for riders to schedule their trips in advance, typically a few days beforehand, allowing for proper arrangements to be made. The program accepts pre-payments and credit card payments, providing ease and flexibility for riders. Participants can enjoy the convenience of curb-to-curb transportation through this program, ensuring a safe and reliable means of getting to their destinations.
