The Transportation Service program provides convenient transportation options for older adults living within different distance zones around Baltimore. The program offers car services with varying pricing based on the radius from the city center. For Zone 1 (within a 20-mile radius), the base rate is $22.95 plus $2.10 per mile each way. For Zone 2 (20-30 miles), the base rate is $26.95 plus the same per-mile charge. Zone 3 (30-45 miles) has a base rate of $34.45, and Zone 4 (45-70 miles) is priced at $46.95, both with the same per-mile fee. In addition to car services, Transportation Service also provides bus or train transportation, giving older adults flexibility in their travel choices. Riders are required to book their trips a few days in advance, and multiple payment options are accepted, including checks, credit cards, and cash. The program offers curb-to-curb transportation, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for older adults traveling to their desired destinations. Whether it's a short trip within Zone 1 or a longer journey to Zone 4, older adults can rely on Transportation Service for safe and reliable transportation assistance.
