Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 65+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.

The Dial-A-Bat program offers affordable transportation options for older adults within the Whitman area and beyond. Rides within Whitman are priced at $2.50 one way, while trips outside of town are available for $3.50 per ride. This program provides convenient transportation services via bus, train, and van, ensuring that older adults can travel comfortably to their desired destinations. Riders using the Dial-A-Bat program are required to schedule their rides in advance, typically a few days before the intended travel date. Payment for the services can be made either by check or in cash, providing flexibility for older adults with different payment preferences.
