Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.

The Van & Paratransit Service is a transportation program offered by the WRTA to assist older adults with their mobility needs. This program provides convenient transportation services to various destinations including doctor's appointments, Senior Center lunches, and weekly trips to grocery stores and Wal-Mart. Riders can access this service by scheduling their trips a few days in advance, ensuring a seamless and reliable transportation experience. The program offers affordable pricing options based on the distance traveled, with both Non-ADA and ADA fares available. Non-ADA fares range from $1.50 to $2.25 for trips within one to three communities away, while ADA fares range from $2.75 to $3.50 depending on the distance traveled. Payment for the service can be made in cash or by check, providing flexibility for riders. Transportation is provided via van, ensuring older adults can travel comfortably and safely to their desired destinations. The program also features curb-to-curb transportation, making it easier for older adults to access essential services and maintain their independence.
