Home Care Services with transportation is a donation-based program provided by Springwell that offers older adults convenient transportation services using a car. Riders are requested to donate $4.00 for each one-way trip, in addition to covering any parking fees or tolls incurred during the journey. Scheduling rides in advance, ideally a few days prior, is required for this program. Payment is accepted in the form of a check, and there is no charge for utilizing this service. One of the unique features of this program is the option for passengers to have a driver wait for them while they run errands or attend appointments. This door-to-door transportation service aims to offer older adults a safe and reliable means of getting to their destinations. By providing this assistance, Home Care Services with transportation seeks to enhance the independence and mobility of older adults within the community.
