Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.
The Transportation Assistance Program offers older adults the opportunity to schedule rides on a bus or train at no cost. Donations are accepted to support the continuation of this service. To access this program, older adults must make reservations a day in advance to secure their spot. Shared rides are available, allowing multiple passengers to travel together, promoting a sense of community among participants. Additionally, vans are available for transportation, providing a convenient and comfortable means of getting around. Curb-to-curb service is offered, ensuring older adults are safely picked up and dropped off at their specified locations. Plan ahead and enjoy the convenience of this transportation program for older adults.
