Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old. No membership is required.
The Share-A-Ride program offers a free transportation service for older adults in the community. This program operates vans to provide convenient curb-to-curb transportation for those who need to get around. Riders are asked to schedule their rides at least one week in advance, with 72 hours advance notice required when booking transportation. By offering this service, Share-A-Ride aims to ensure that older adults have access to the transportation they need to continue being active and engaged in their community. Through the generosity of donations, this program is able to support older adults in getting to their appointments, running errands, or simply connecting with others.
