Lex Connect: Taxi Voucher Program

Learn More About This Program

Please make sure to contact Lex Connect: Taxi Voucher Program to confirm details of their transportation services.

Provides rides for any purpose, as long as you meet one of the following criteria: you are 60+ years old.

The Taxi Voucher Program offers older adults a convenient and flexible transportation option via taxi services. Participants of the program can purchase vouchers for a low cost of $5 each, with the opportunity to buy up to 12 vouchers per month. These vouchers do not expire, providing users with long-term access to transportation. Rides using the vouchers typically cost between 1-3 vouchers each way, depending on the destination. Riders simply present the vouchers to the taxi driver as payment. While a tip of $1-3 for good service is customary, it remains optional. To utilize this program, riders are required to schedule their rides in advance, usually a few days prior to the desired transport date. Moreover, the program accepts credit card payments, adding to the convenience for older adults. With curb-to-curb transportation services available, older adults can enjoy a safe and hassle-free way to commute to their destinations.
