DALTON COASTS is a convenient transportation program tailored for older adults in the community. The program offers affordable rides priced at $1.50 each way to the senior center and $3.00 each way for other destinations. Riders can enjoy shared van transportation, ensuring a social and cost-effective way to get around town. To use DALTON COASTS, older adults are required to schedule their rides in advance, with at least a few days' notice. Pre-payment is accepted for added convenience. The program offers door-to-door and curb-to-curb service, making it easy for riders to access transportation right from their homes. Additionally, riders can bring their service animals along for the journey. When booking a ride through DALTON COASTS, remember to give at least one business day's notice for scheduling. For example, if you need a ride on Monday afternoon, be sure to call by noon on the preceding Friday. This program strives to provide reliable and accessible transportation options for older adults in the community.
