Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments, or social or recreational purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.

The Transportation program provides a valuable service for older adults in the community by offering affordable shared van rides to various destinations. The program operates on a donation basis, with pricing varying depending on the destination, such as $0.50 to the local senior center, $1 to Chicopee, and $2 to surrounding areas. Riders are required to schedule their rides in advance, typically a few days beforehand, ensuring that adequate transportation arrangements can be made. Payment for the rides can be made either by check or in cash, providing flexibility for the riders. The program offers curb-to-curb transportation, meaning that older adults will be picked up and dropped off directly at their desired locations. By utilizing the Transportation program, older adults can access safe and reliable transportation services to meet their various needs, whether it's attending appointments, running errands, or socializing at the senior center.
