Provides rides for only the following purposes: medical appointments, or grocery shopping. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you are 60+ years old, or you have a disability. No membership is required.
The Transportation Assistance program provides convenient and affordable transportation options for older adults in our community. With a flat fee of $3.00 per trip, this program offers a cost-effective way for older adults to get around town. Riders must schedule their trips a few days in advance, allowing for efficient planning and coordination of shared rides via the program's comfortable vans.
Payments can be made by check or cash, providing flexibility for riders. Curb-to-curb transportation service ensures that older adults can safely and conveniently reach their destinations. Whether it's a visit to the doctor's office, a shopping trip, or simply enjoying social activities, the Transportation Assistance program is dedicated to meeting the diverse transportation needs of older adults in our community, promoting independence and connectivity.
