Provides rides for only the following purposes: necessary errands, medical appointments, grocery shopping, or work or volunteer purposes. Also, you must meet at least one of these criteria: you have a disability. No membership is required.
The Van Transportation program offers convenient and affordable transportation for older adults. With a low fare of $1 for in-town trips and $2 for out-of-town rides, older adults can schedule shared van rides at least a few days in advance. Payment options are flexible, allowing for payment by either check or cash. This program ensures a hassle-free experience by providing curb-to-curb transportation, making it easier for older adults to get to their desired destinations safely and comfortably. Whether it's a trip within town or a journey outside the area, the Van Transportation program strives to meet the transportation needs of older adults efficiently.
