How can this program help me?
The Ohio State Legal Services Association provides civil legal help and advocacy in several areas of the law, including:
- Elder Law: Get help creating a living will, which can document your wishes if you have an illness or injury that prevents you from making sound health or financial choices. You can also get information on your rights to long-term care or assisted living.
- Family Law: Get help with divorce, child support, an order of protection, or grandparent rights.
- Housing Law: Get help with housing or homeownership issues such as foreclosure, eviction, repairs, and landlord-tenant disagreements.
- Public Benefits Law: Get help with applying for and receiving public benefits such as Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare, veteran’s benefits, and unemployment compensation.
