This program provides transportation via taxi, private car, bus, or train to help older adults get to medical appointments, run errands, or attend social events. Riders can schedule rides in advance, with the option to book on-demand rides as well. The program accepts various forms of payment, including insurance, vouchers, donations, and Medicaid.
Accessible and convenient, the program ensures that older adults can travel safely and independently. It offers door-to-door or curb-to-curb transportation, and riders can bring service animals with them. The program also assists riders with packages or bags and provides shared rides to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Whether it's a one-time trip or a regular transportation need, the Senior Transportation program aims to support older adults in maintaining their mobility and connecting them to essential services in the community.
