Catch-a-Cab is a transportation benefit program designed to provide older adults with affordable access to taxi services. Participants in this program can purchase a $20 book of taxi coupons for just $5, offering significant savings on their transportation expenses. Each older adult is eligible to purchase up to 7 coupon books per quarter, making it a convenient and cost-effective option for regular travelers. Enrollment in Catch-a-Cab is straightforward, requiring completion of a simple registration form and submission of proof of age. Once registered, participants gain access to the discounted taxi coupons, which can be used exclusively by Catch-a-Cab subscribers. To utilize the program, older adults are asked to schedule their rides in advance, allowing for efficient transportation planning and coordination. This requirement ensures that participants can secure the transportation they need when they need it, promoting independence and mobility for older adults in the community.
